Hungarian Independence Day marked in Baku
The Embassy of Hungary in Azerbaijan has hosted an event marking the country`s Independence Day.
Ambassador Zsolt Chutora spoke of the history of independence of Hungary, as well as his country`s relations with Azerbaijan. The diplomat said the two countries enjoyed strong partnership, expressing confidence that this partnership would continue to strengthen.
He noted that the reciprocal visits contributed to developing ties between Azerbaijan and Hungary. Zsolt Chutora praised bilateral relations in the political, economic and humanitarian fields.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Mahmud Mammadguliyev congratulated the Hungarian government and people on the Day of Independence.
He highlighted the diplomatic relations between the two countries. The Deputy FM lauded the two countries` cooperation within international organizations. He stressed the importance of performing Hungarian composers` works in stages of Azerbaijan.
Official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Parvin Mirzazade and CEO of “HUNAZ” Organization Nazim Aghamaliyev received the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary for their contributions to developing Hungarian-Azerbaijani relations.
