    IMISHLI SUGAR REFINERY AWARDED WITH INTERNATIONAL QUALITY CERTIFICATE

    Sugar Refinery in Imishli province has been awarded with ISO 9001:2000 quality certificate. The certificate of the International Organization for Certification (ISO) has been given to the factory after Turkish Standards Institute carried out an inspection here.

    This is the most modern and largest Sugar Refinery in the Caucasus, which came on stream March 23, 2006 with the participation of Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan Republic.

    The factory refines 5 thousand tons sugar beet every day and a thousand ton of raw sugar, and produce 300-450 tons of crystal sugar per year.
