INTER-PARLIAMENTARY COMMISSION TO RENDER ASSISTANCE GOVERNMENT IN CREATION OF FRONTIER AND CUSTOMS INFRASTRUCTURE

Participants of the Baku session of the Russian-Azerbaijani Inter-parliamentary commission aiming at studying problems existing at the border-check points, visited “Samur” and “Yarag Gazmalar” check-points.
As was informed, at the closed sitting of the Commission in Baku the parties adopted a decision on inter-actions of the parliaments of Russia and Azerbaijan with the appropriate ministries and departments of the two countries in the field of improvement of frontier cooperation.
It is especially noted that setting deputy control over replacement of citizens, transport means, goods and shipments at the Azerbaijani-Russian borders, reaching at the parliamentary discussions the project of state budget for 2004 allotment of means for construction of cross check-points ‘Yarag Gazmalar’, “Novo-Filya”, “Derbent” in Russia, “Samur”, “Shirvanovka”, “Yalama” in Azerbaijan.
Inter-parliamentary commission intends to render assistance the authoritative bodies of Azerbaijan and Russia in creation of frontier and customs infrastructures.
