ISLAMIC DEVELOPMENT BANK TO ALLOCATE 32 MILLION CREDIT TO KAZAKHSTAN

Islamic Development Bank is going to allocate 32 mln credit for implementation of three projects in Kazakhstan, AzerTaj correspondent reports from Alamaty citing Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the country Bolat Jamshiev. According to the latter, agreement on the projects financing will be signed at the 28th annual meeting of the Bank’s Board of Directors to be held from August 30 to September 3 in Almaty. The 20-year credit to the amount of 9 mln dollars will be spent for improvement of the water supply system in the villages located in Karaganda region, and another 9 mln dollars for modernization of postal services in the country.
Bolat Jamshiev said the IDB is also going to finance the construction of a new building for Kazakhstan State University of Law allocating 15-year credit to the amount of 14 mln. dollars.
