In 2008, the attractive and beautiful International Mugham Center was constructed on the National Seaside Park (Baku Boulevard), adding another stunning construction to Baku's waterfront.
The completely new center was built in the form of the neck and large bowl of a "tar" (Azerbaijani lute) and the bowl of a "kamancha" (Azerbaijani lyre).
The facades of the building are made from Plate glass and alcopan; the roof is made out of glass and stainless iron. The 360- seat auditorium showcases exemplary acoustics. The stage can move up and down and is unique for its view and structure. The lighting and sound systems completely meet all professional standards.
