International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation issues statement on terrorist attack against Azerbaijan`s embassy in Iran

The International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation has issued a statement condemning the terrorist act committed against the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The statement says: “The International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation expresses its shock at the death of Orkhan Asgarov, who lost his life ensuring the safety of the embassy, and conveys deep condolences to his relatives. The Foundation wishes a speedy recovery to the employees of the security service of the embassy injured during the bloody attack.

Taking into account that terrorism, which is considered one of the most dangerous issues of the modern world, causes loss of life, destruction of material and moral values, breeding of violence, mistrust and hatred, the Foundation demands a serious and comprehensive investigation of this crime by the Islamic Republic of Iran, and punishment of the culprits as soon as possible.”
