International seminar on Intellectual Property kicks off in Baku
Baku, February 12 (AZERTAC). International seminar on the role of law enforcement agencies sustaining "Bill On Intellectual Property and copyright protection” has been held in Baku jointly with Azerbaijan Copyright Agency and EU`s Twinning project.
Kamran Imanov, chairman of Azerbaijan State Copyright Agency spoke of the importance of holding training and seminars for judges and the law enforcement employees on strengthening protection of authors` rights in Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani and Spanish experts made reports on the item.
Twinning projects bring together public sector expertise from EU Member States and beneficiary countries with the aim of enhancing co-operative activities. They must yield concrete operational results for the beneficiary country under the terms of the Association Agreement between that country and the EU.
