Iran wins gold and bronze medals at women's 10m air rifle in ISSF World Cup in Gabala

Iran won one gold, one bronze, and two Olympic quotas on the second competition day of the ISSF World Cup in Gabala, Azerbaijan.

Elaheh Ahmadi, 33, and Najmeh Khedmati, 19, respectively came in first and in third at the women's 10m air rifle event. In addition to representing Iran on the podium, they brought their country two Olympic quota places for Rio 2016.

Ahmadi won the gold with 207.8 points. She beat China's Zhang Binbin, the silver medalist, by just 0.4.

Khedmati, the bronze medalist, scored 185.5 points.
