Istanbul hosts meeting of heads of Strategic Research Centers of Turkic Council member states

Istanbul has today hosted the second meeting of the officials of the Strategic Research Centers of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking Countries (Turkic Council).

Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ramil Hasanov, Director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of Azerbaijan Farhad Mammadov, Chairman of the Center for Strategic Research of the Turkish Foreign Ministry (SAM) Ali Resul Usul, Director of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies Yerlan Karin, Director of Kyrgyzstan's Institute for Strategic Studies Talant Sultanov and others addressed the event. They underlined the significance of expanding relations between the brain tanks of the Turkic Council Member States.

The agenda of the meeting includes discussions on “Implementation of development potential of the regional cooperation between the Turkic speaking countries on the basis of political, social, economic and cultural directions”, “The effect of recent economic and political development in Eurasia between Turkic speaking countries and in regional cooperation”.
