JAPAN READY TO ALLOT CREDIT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPORTS IN AZERBAIJAN

Minister of Transports Ziya Mammadov met with ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan Toshiyuki Fujiwara.
According to the Ministry, Ziya Mammadov dwelt upon the operation of the Great Silk Way, development of TRASECA project, significance of the transport corridor North-South and work implemented in the Azerbaijani part of the international transport corridors.
Toshiyuki Fujiwara considered the further development of ties between both countries as a manifestation of traditional friendship. He noted that Japan constantly shows interest to the Caucasus Transport Corridor, approves the transport policy of the Government of Azerbaijan and express satisfaction with the right utilization of credits allocated by the Japanese Government. The diplomat stressed that Government of Japan express his intention to allot credit for new transport development projects in Azerbaijan.
