Kyrgyz parliament elects new ombudsman

Baku, December 31, AZERTAC

The parliament of Kyrgyzstan has elected Kubat Otorbaev, former Director General of the Public TV/Radio Broadcasting Corporation, as the country`s new ombudsman.

Sixty-three members of parliament voted for him. Otorbaev`s candidacy was nominated by two factions – SDOK and Kyrgyzstan.
