The training course “Definition of Risks and Their Management” has started at the regional center of the World Customs Organization on October 20.

Experts of the Latvian Main Customs Board is expected to deliver within the five days lectures on the following subjects: definition of risks and analysis of their factors, cargo and passenger risk factors, risk control procedure, its purpose, collection of information and information source. The hearers will study systems used by customs analysts, strategic, tactical and operational data, and issues related to the risk structure analysis.

During the course opening, Latvian expert Bayba Cedleniche, chiefs of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan Shahin Baghirov and Arif Alyev told on the significance of the course, and noted that conditions created in the center meet international standard and stressed the importance of risk management in the work of custom-house and wished the participants successes.
