Levan Izoria: Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey maintain fruitful trilateral cooperation

“Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey are fruitfully cooperating in a trilateral format,” Georgia`s Minister of Defense Levan Izoria has told journalists.

"As three friendly states we have had several ministerial meetings, where we have adopted very important decisions, conducted joint military exercises and other events. We will have a new meeting in Turkey soon to discuss very important issues," the minister said.

Speaking about the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and Georgia, the minister said both countries had part of their territories occupied.

Izoria stressed that the issue of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and Georgia was discussed at the South Caucasus Security Forum in Tbilisi, where experts, human rights defenders and politicians supported “our just position”.

“We are working together in international organizations to return our lands peacefully,” the Georgian minister added.
