MEETING OF YOUTH HELD IN ASTARA

A meeting has been conducted in the Astara Teacher’s College.

The speakers noted that accomplishments of the Azerbaijani youth over the years of independence are strongly connected to the name of President Heydar Aliyev.

As it was noted, the youth of Astara province are taking an active part in strengthening of Azerbaijani state and protection of Azerbaijani statehood in economic, social and cultural life of Azerbaijan. About 100 people have become shahids in the battles for Azerbaijani lands. One of them was bestowed the National Hero title, two of them – “Azerbaijan Bayragi” medal and another one – “For military merits” medal.

The meeting participants have adopted an address of Astara youth to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
