    MILLI MAJLIS APPROVED THE APPOINTMENT OF ARTUR RASIZADEH AS PRIME MINISTER

    In accordance with Article 109, paragraph 4 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev submitted the appointment of the Artur Rasizadeh as Prime Minister of Azerbaijan to the Milli Majlis for approval.

    At the Milli Majlis November 4 sitting, the deputies positively welcomed the submission by the Head of State and appraised this as indication of the continuation of the political course of Heydar Aliyev.

    Following the debates, the parliament has approved - 93 votes for and 1 against - the appointment of Artur Tahir oglu Rasizadeh as Prime Minister of Azerbaijan
