MINEPS VII Organizing Committee convenes in Baku

The Organizing Committee on preparation for the 7th International Conference of Ministers and Officials Responsible for Physical Education and Sports (MINEPS VII) has held its first meeting with Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov as its chairman.

Addressing the event, Farid Gayibov highlighted the importance of the event, saying that “MINEPS VII conference is an international event of UNESCO in the field of sports, which will gather more than 150 countries` sports ministers”.

Speaking about the working group, which is operating under the Organization Committee, Minister Gayibov noted that respective agencies coordinate their operations in order to ensure excellent organization of the the event.

The meeting featured presentation on preparations for the MINEPS VII conference, as well as discussions with the representatives of member agencies of the Organizing Committee.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on setting up an organizing committee to hold the 7th International Conference of Ministers and Senior Officials Responsible for Physical Education and Sports (MINEPS VII) to be held in capital Baku on June 26-29, 2023.
