MOTOR TRANSPORT CONVEYED 518,7 THOUSAND PASSENGERS

For January-August 2003, motor transport (taking into account estimation of physical entities who work without founding legal entities) has carried 37,5 million tons of cargo.

According to State Statistics Committee, it is by 7,7 percent more than that of the same period of previous year.

Motor transport has carried 518,7 thousand passengers, while having increased by 13,8 percent the goods turnover totaled 3,8 billion ton-km.
