Manchester City have reportedly agreed personal terms with Erling Haaland's agent, Mino Raiola, as they close in on signing the Borussia Dortmund striker this summer, according to Marca.
The 21-year-old has also attracted interest from Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, as he is expected to part ways with Dortmund after the season is over.
According to the Daily Mail, City have reached an agreement with Haaland, while Bayern Munich have ruled out moving for the player.
"The Haaland transfer package is very, very far from what we imagined," Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn explained.
Haaland's contract with Dortmund runs until 2024, but it includes a 63 million pound (75 million euro) release clause, which comes into effect this summer.
As reported by Daily Mail journalist Mike Keegan, Haaland will earn more than 500,000 pounds a week, which would make him the highest-paid player in the Premier League.
Manchester City are now expected to trigger his release clause before they put pen to paper on a five-year deal.
