Members of Baku Chess Olympiad Organizing Committee visit Baku Chrystal Hall

Members of the Baku Chess Olympiad Organizing Committee have today visited the Baku Chrystal Hall.

Then a meeting was held with the participation of Chairperson of the Committee, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov, Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov, Director of the Operating Committee Mahir Mammadov, and Vice President of the Azerbaijani Chess Federation Faig Hasanov.

The meeting featured discussions on designing the competition hall, media center, as well as security measures and other important issues.

The World Chess Olympiad 2016 will be held in Baku on September 1-14.

The Olympiad will bring together nearly 2500 players from 180 countries.
