Minister: Turkey intends to cooperate with Azerbaijan in the field of space

Turkish Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank has expressed his country`s intention to cooperate with Azerbaijan in the field of space. "Turkey has signed space agreements with three countries. Cooperation agreements in this field with Azerbaijan and Pakistan are at the stage of signing."

"Turkey has adopted a strategic program in the field of space. On February 9, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the goals of the National Space Program. Announcing the program, which will see the production of a new generation of national satellites, communication with space, the creation of a space port, the head of state said that the main goal is to send a Turkish man to the moon," he added.
