1 February. President Heydar Aliyev held an expanded meeting of the Security Council.

2 February. He met with met with members of the general public of the country.

5 February. He made a speech at the ceremony dedicated to the 60th anniversary of People's Writer Rustam Ibrahimbayov.

6 February. He was honored with the "Statesman of the Year" award by Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen Foundation (TUSIAV).

15 February. He received the Bishop of Baku and the Caspian littoral countries.

16 February. He met with the Israeli delegation.

He held the meeting of the State Commission on the 1300th anniversary of the epic Kitabi Dada Gorgud.

17 February. He received the delegation of "Marmara Group" of Turkey.

22 February. He met with the US President's special envoy for the Caspian region Ambassador Richard Morningstar.

24 February. He chaired an expanded meeting of the Security Council.

26 February. He presented "Gold Star" medals and "Azerbaijani Flag" orders to the parents, family members of national heroes, who lost their lives defending Khojaly, as well as the most distinguished servicemen.

On 29 September, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an Order to declare 2023 as a “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in the country. 10 May 2023 will mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, and an outstanding politician and statesman.
