Moscow hosts official reception marking 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev

An official reception marking the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev has been held in Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation.
Addressing the event, Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova described such remarkable event held in Moscow to mark the 100th anniversary of National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev as a manifestation of sincere respect for the memory of the Great Leader and the Azerbaijani people.
Speaker Sahiba Gafarova emphasized that the exhibitions organized in Moscow once again demonstrate the scale of the works done by the Great Leader for the development of the entire nation and country as well as relations between Azerbaijan and Russia.
Sahiba Gafarova drew attention to the fact that all the wishes of the National Leader are being consistently implemented today by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, and the relations between Azerbaijan and Russia are further developed.
In their remarks, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Alexey Gordeyev and Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu highlighted the life and political activity of the outstanding Azerbaijani politician and statesman Heydar Aliyev as well as his achievements in further development of relations between Azerbaijan and Russia.
The event then continued with a concert program.
Assistant to Azerbaijani President Anar Alakbarov, representatives of the embassies accredited in Moscow, Members of the State Duma and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, state and government officials, cultural and artistic figures from both countries as well as public representatives attended the event.
