“We condemn today’s attack at the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran and remind the Iranian Government that it is obliged to ensure foreign diplomats’ safety in Iran,” Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Ned Price said on Twitter.
“We offer our deepest condolences to the loved ones of Orkhan Asgarov and to the injured,” he added.
