Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has met with bp Executive Vice President for Production and Operations Gordon Birrell who is visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the Baku Energy Week.

Mikayil Jabbarov stressed the importance of effective cooperation with bp. The minister provided information about internationally important energy projects implemented at the initiative and with active participation of Azerbaijan and measures implemented in connection with the green energy transition and noted opportunities for developing cooperation.

bp's Executive Vice President for Production and Operations Gordon Birrell, spoke about ways of expanding partnership with Azerbaijan.

The pair discussed the important energy projects initiated Azerbaijan, renewable energy, progress achieved in this field and outlook for new cooperation.
