New vine-growing farm created in Babak district

A new vine-growing farm has been created in Nehram village of Babak district in Nakhchivan. Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov viewed the vine-growing farm.

The establishment of the vine-growing farm started in 2015. Apart from local types, 10 grape varieties brought from Italy, France, Turkey and Uzbekistan were planted here. More than 326,000 grape saplings were planted in a 150 hectare area in the farm.

More than 50,000 apple saplings were planted in a 25 hectare area. The Nehram vine-growing farm created 140 jobs.
