OIC Parliamentary Union’s conference adopts three resolutions on Azerbaijan

As earlier reported, Azerbaijani parliamentarians Govhar Bakhshaliyeva and Mirkazim Kazimov represented the country at the meeting of the specialized committees of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Bamako, the capital of Mali.

The PUIC committees have supported and submitted for approval at the 12th session of the Parliamentary Union all three resolutions introduced by the Azerbaijani delegation, the head of Azerbaijani delegation Govhar Bakhshaliyeva said. The resolutions concerned Armenia’s aggression against Azerbaijan and recognition of the Khojaly town events in 1992 as genocide and cooperation between the PUOICM and Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation. After discussions, the resolutions were unanimously adopted at the 12th session of the PUIC Conference.

The Conference participants were told that current year Azerbaijan is to host the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku, the event which will play key role in unification and solidarity of the Moslem world.
