OPERA “VAGIF” ON AUDIO DISC

Opera “Vagif” is the best stage works by famous composer, people’s artist Ramiz Mustafayev. For this work based on the drama by the people’s poet Samed Vufgun and staged in 60-s of the last century, Ramiz Mustafayev was bestowed the title of the laureate of the All-Union Contest of Young composers in 1962. Recently, “Sbuhi” Studio has launched recording the “Vagif” opera for CD release. Ramiz Mustafayev said the CD comprising 4 acts and 7 scenes is being prepared on base of archive films earlier recorded. Major parts in the opera are being played by people’s artists of USSR Firangiz Ahmadova and Lutfiyar Imanov.

Audio disc “Vagif” will be realized in late September.
