OPINION OF RUSSIAN OBSERVERS ON PRELIMINARY CONCLUSIONS OF PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS IN AZERBAIJAN
International observers of the Russian Central Election Commission have no doubt for the preliminary conclusions of the 15 October Presidential elections in Azerbaijan made public by the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan. This was stated by RF CEC chairman Mr. Alexander Veshnyakov in his interview to the ITAR-TASS correspondent. “Evaluation of the international observers is positive, he stressed.
A. Veshnyakov said that on 16 October he had a telephone talk with thehead of the international observer group, CEC member Vladimir Butayev, who said: “The elections passed with high activity of citizens and in a high level”.
The observers also noted good organization of the voting process at the stations.
The RF CEC observer group participating at the Presidential elections in Azerbaijan comprised 15 people.
