OSCE SHOULD MAKE CONCRETE STEPS FOR SETTLEMENT OF THE CONFLICT
Greeting the guests, foreign minister of Azerbaijan said that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to cooperation with OSCE. He also stressed the necessity of intensification of efforts by OSCE and making concrete steps for the resolution of the conflicts, including the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorny Karabakh conflict. He update on the work done for the settlement of the problem, on the direct meetings and dialogues of Presidents of the two counties, on plight of refugees and IDPs. Minister Guliyev also reminded that the aggressor ignored the UN Security Council’s four Resolutions on the problem. And he connected it with the absence of effective tools to solve the problem.
Acting Chairman of OSCE Mr. Solomon Passy said that his Organization is keen in establishment of peace and security, also noted the necessity on increasing the international efforts in this direction. Touching the bilateral relations, the guest said that his country stands ready for cooperation with Azerbaijan in the political, economic, cultural and other fields.
The parties exchanged views on a umber of issues of mutual interest.
