    OVER-EXPENDITURE OF OLYMPIAD BUDGET EXCEEDED 1 BLN DOLLARS

    Expenditures for upcoming Olympic 2004 have made up 1 bln dollars that exceeded the planned amount, newly appointed Minister of Finance of Greece Giorgos Alogoskufis reported.

    According to him, initial cost was estimated at 5,5 bln dollars, but last expenditures for providing security increased twice.
