Baku, October 19, AZERTAC
Premier of Ontario, Canada, Kathleen Wynne has sent a congratulatory letter to the Assembly of Canadian Azerbaijani Organizations on the 26th independence day of Azerbaijan.
“On behalf of the Government of Ontario, I am delighted to extend warm greetings to everyone gathered to commemorate the 26th Independence Day of Azerbaijan.
I want to thank the Assembly of Canadian Azerbaijani Organizations for bringing the community together to celebrate the richness and vibrancy of Azerbaijani culture and heritage, and to reflect on the country's journey to independence," Wynne said in her message.
"I would like to take this opportunity to recognize the valuable partnership and friendship between Azerbaijan and Ontario - a relationship that was made even stronger earlier this year when our government - represented by my colleague Reza Moridi, Ontario's Minister of Research, Innovation and Science had the privilege of leading a successful innovation mission to Azerbaijan to explore opportunities for collaboration."
"This mission also helped to deepen our government's understanding of the many enduring ways in which Ontario's Azerbaijani communities have helped shape our province into the strong and vibrant place we are fortunate to call home."
"Please accept my sincere best wishes for a meaningful and memorable independence day," the Ontario Premier said.
