Baku, March 20, AZERTAC
Turkish police arrested 22 PKK/KCK suspects for their alleged links to the terrorist group in Turkey on Wednesday, security sources said, according to Anadolu Agency.
Out of the total, 12 terror suspects including some officials of the opposition Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) were arrested in southern Adana province for promoting terrorist propaganda, said the sources, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
Also, in the Aegean province of Izmir, police arrested 10 suspects for their alleged links with PKK/KCK terror group.
In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- has been responsible for the deaths of nearly 40,000 people, including women and children.
