    PALMALI`S TANKER TO BE NAMED AFTER AZERBAIJANI NATIONAL HERO

    Baku, August 5 (AZERTAC). The Palmali Group of Companies said it would name one of its tankers after Azerbaijani national hero Mubariz Ibrahimov.

    The move was instructed by Palmali President Mubariz Gurbanov.

    The vessel will sail from Turkish Besiktas shipyard in October.

    Sergeant Ibrahimov died in Tartar region on the front after killing several Armenian soldiers when the Azerbaijani Armed Force were repulsing an attack from the Armenian side.

    Ibrahimov was posthumously made the National Hero of Azerbaijan by an Executive Order from President Ilham Aliyev.
