POLICE NOT TO INTRUDE ELECTIONS, BUT ENSURE ORDER
The Internal Ministry press service said that some newspapers write that the police impede election campaign in the Country. This is not true. The police do not intrude elections, but it ensures order and security.
On the instruction of the Ministry, the Election Code has been explained to all the police staff. They know well that they also should vote as an elector, but in other cases, they should not go the election precincts. But they can be invited to the election precincts by the chairman of the Central Election Commission. After implementation of their duties, they must immediately leave the election precincts.
According to the Article 104.14 of the Election Code, if the police are in the voting room, then voting is suspended. The police should be 100 meters far of the election precincts.
