The BTC project is now over 55% complete, as further headway is being made on the pipeline and facilities in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey. In Azerbaijan, over 229km of the Right of Way - the designated route of the pipeline - has been prepared. At pump station PSG1 in Georgia, the first turbine has been lifted onto its foundations. Over 95km of the pipeline in Georgia has been welded together. While bad weather disrupted construction at the Ceyhan marine terminal in Turkey, work continued with welding for storage tanks, setting of piles for the jetty, and casting of foundations for the fire fighting building.
