“Petkim Peninsula will be one of the largest manufacturing centers in Europe,” said Kenan Yavuz, president of SOCAR Turkey Energy, SOCAR`s largest company in Turkey.
Addressing the 22nd International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference in Baku, Mr Yavuz provided detailed information about Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline (TANAP) project, the main part of the Southern Gas Corridor, Star oil refinery, reconstruction of Petkim petrochemical holding, Petlim port, a new coal thermal power station in Petkim peninsula and wind power stations.
“With more than $20 billion investment, SOCAR is the largest foreign investor in Turkey, and will be the second largest company in the country by 2018,” he noted.
