Presentation on Lithuania’s tourism potential held in Baku
Baku, May 2 (AZERTAC). A presentation-seminar on the tourism potential of Lithuania has been held today at the Lithuania`s Embassy in Baku.
Ambassador Kestutis Kudzmanas said from the point of view of development of tourism the Lithuania-Azerbaijan relations have greater potential. And the goal of today`s presentation, was, according to him, to expand appropriate ties between the two countries.
Representative of Lithuanian tourism department Raymonda Balnene updated his Azerbaijani colleagues on the tourism opportunities of his country. “Previous year some 1,5 million tourists have visited Lithuania”, he stressed. “These are mainly from Russia, Belarus, Poland and Germany. A small number of Azerbaijani tourists have visited Lithuania, and we hope in the coming years their number will rise”.
