President Ilham Aliyev: Now the main target is to diversify our economy

“Azerbaijan’s economy is stable, investments are friendly and is based on natural resources, but at the same time now, the main target is diversification,” said President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev as he addressed the opening ceremony of Azerbaijan-Lithuania business forum in Vilnius.

“And I think that we will be able to largely diversify our economy and to reduce dependence on energy sectors. Though, energy sector will continue to play an important role for our energy security and energy security of Europe,” the head of state added.
