President Ilham Aliyev inspects construction works at Gala complex in Ganja

Ganja, January 21 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Jan. 21 inspected construction works at Gala architectural complex in Ganja.

The President was informed that Gala (Castle) complex is being built at the entrance to the city, on Ganja-Baku highway. The construction started in April, 2011. The road was extended to 22 meters on both sides. Each of the castle walls is 47 meters in length and 15 meters in height. The height of the castle tower is 22 meters. Along the road there will be erected statues and fountains featuring protagonists from Nizami’s five poems under the common name "Khamsa".

President Ilham Aliyev gave relevant instructions and recommendations.
