President Ilham Aliyev opens Chess School in Goranboy

Goranboy, January 21 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inaugurated the Chess School in Goranboy.

The Head of State cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the facility and then toured it.

The President was informed construction of the Chess School started in early 2011 and ended at the end of the year. The facility covers a total area of 300 square meters.

The two-storey building of the Chess School was provided with all necessary equipment. A modern lighting system was installed around the school.

The Head of State viewed photo stands reflecting care and attention of President Ilham Aliyev and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva to development of education.

The Azerbaijani President praised the work done here.
