President Ilham Aliyev receives Latvian Foreign Minister

Baku, February 24 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Foreign Minister of Latvia Edgars Rinkevics.

During the conversation, Edgars Rinkevics conveyed greetings of the Latvian President Andris Berzins and former President Valdis Zatlers to the Azerbaijani leader.

The sides stressed successful development of relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia in various spheres, highlighted importance of the bilateral ties as part of the Azerbaijan-European Union cooperation, and exchanged views on cooperation between Caspian littoral and Baltic states and other issues.

The Head of State asked the Minister to pass on his greetings to the Latvian President Andris Berzins and former President Valdis Zatlers.
