President Ilham Aliyev receives credentials of incoming Ambassador of Ethiopia
Baku, December 1 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received credentials of newly-appointed ambassador of Ethiopia Mulatu Teshome.
The Ambassador passed along the guard of honor.
Teshome handed over his credentials to the Head of State.
President Ilham Aliyev had a conversation with the ambassador.
The Head of State thanked the Ethiopian government as it supported Azerbaijan when the country was elected as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
President Ilham Aliyev wished the Ethiopian diplomat every success in his further activity and expressed hope Azerbaijan-Ethiopia relations would develop during his tenure.
Mr. Teshome conveyed greetings to the Head of State from the Ethiopian President Girma Wolde-Giorgis.
The ambassador underlined existence of mutual interests in strengthening ties between the two countries in all spheres.
The Head of State asked the diplomat to pass on his greetings to the Ethiopian President.
