President of Georgia visits Tufan Alpine Skiing Summer and Winter Recreation Complex in Gabala
Gabala, February 13 (AZERTAC). President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili has today visited Tufan Alpine Skiing Summer and Winter Recreation Complex in Gabala.
The Georgian leader was informed that the first phase of work saw construction of four cable lines, and five of 10 ski slopes.
The Complex is located 4km from the city of Gabala.
The complex features a number of facilities for tourists, including restaurants, a skiing school, a golf club and a hotel.
The complex will serve up to 3,000 people a day.
President Giorgi Margvelashvili was informed of the work to be carried out in the second phase of construction.
Tufan Alpine Skiing Summer and Winter Recreation Complex will play a critical role in developing winter sports in Azerbaijan.
The President viewed the lower station of Riverside cable line.
