Putin to open Year of Teacher and Mentor in Stavropol Region

Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit the North Caucasian Federal District to participate in an opening ceremony of a Year of Teacher and Mentor, the Kremlin press service reported, according to TASS.
The ceremony will take place at the Mashuk educational center in Pyatigorsk. Putin will bestow state awards, meet with the participants of a pilot educational program and with the Stavropol Region’s Governor Vladimir Vladimirov.
