RECEP TAYYIP ERDOGAN VISITED SAUDI ARABIA

Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan left for Saudi Arabia to participate in the Jeddah Economic Forum. He is accompanied by State Minister Ali Babajan, Minister of Finances Kamal Unakitan and 300 businessmen. The forum will be attended by former US president Bill Clinton, heads of states and governments of various countries.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated to the journalist in the airport Ataturk on scheduled meetings with Saudi Arabia officials. At present, the volume of foreign trade turnover between Turkey and Saudi Arabia comes to $1,5 billion. $700 billion falls to the share of Turkish export. Speaking about the ties between the two countries Prime Minister said that about 100 thousand Turkish citizens resides in Saudi Arabia and 200 pilgrims make Hajj yearly.
