“ROUND TABLE” DEALS WITH PHILOSOPHICAL SCIENCE IN AZERBAIJAN
Greeting the audience, doctor of philosophic sciences, professor Salahaddin Khalilov said that the great German philosopher Immanuel Kan died while the other one Ludwig Feyerback was born in the same 1804. There was no Great French Revolution without Kant and other outstanding thinkers.
Salahaddin Khalilov gave insight into the creativity of Kant and Feyerbach lingering about their certain works. He noted that great intellects have no nationality.
The “round table” was addressed by ambassador of Germany, professor Claus Grewlich, representative of OSCE Baku office Luts Litkhfuss, chairman of the Milli Majlis permanent commission on science and education matters, professor Shahlar Asgarov, rector of “Khazar” university Hamlet Isakhanli etc.
The speakers pinpointed the problems of teaching of philosophy and translation of philosophic books. Basically, they came to conclusion that it is imperative to base on classical German philosophy.
