Rector of Azerbaijan Tourism Institute participates in ESRUC meeting in Turkey
Baku, March 9 (AZERTAC). The rector of Azerbaijan Tourism Institute Jafar Jafarov participated in an Executive Board Meeting of the Eurasian Silk Road Universities Consortium (ESRUC).
Chief of the ESRUC, rector of Ataturk University Hikmet Kocak made a speech.
The meeting participants discussed issues on exchange of students and teachers, creation of the sole database for ESRUC members, prospects of cooperation within the Erasmus Mundus program.
Coordination of ESRUC with Silk Road Project, attraction of students to this program, studies in tourism sector will be determined as a part of WTO Silk Road Project for 2012-2013.
Founded in 2010, the Eurasian Silk Road Universities Consortium (ESRUC) provides a forum for promoting greater understanding of friendship and peace and value of cultural diversity and cross-cultural connections and drives collaborative, sustainable development along the Silk Road. The Consortium supports preservation and revitalization of the rich cultural heritage of the Members of Eurasian Silk Road Universities Consortium with a view to enhance cross cultural understanding.
