Registration for European Championship Rocket League among national federations within TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan completed

Registration for European Championship Rocket League to be held among national federations within TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan has come to an end.

TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan will be held for the first time in Baku on 26 – 29 May this year, jointly organized by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey.

Cyber athletes from Azerbaijan and 25 European countries will gather in Baku for Rocket League and Tekken competitions.

During the championship, representatives of the European Cyber Sports Federation and 27 national federations will arrive in Baku to observe the competition.

A total of 25 cyber athletes from Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Israel, Italy, Hungary, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and Wales will join the Tekken competition.

A total of 48 participants representing 16 teams from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Israel, Hungary, Luxembourg, Monaco, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and Wales will continue to compete in the Rocket League.

It is to be recalled that the registration process for the European National Championship Rocket League is ongoing. Azerbaijani citizens over 16 years of age are eligible to take part in the event individually. Those wishing can register for the national selection by visiting https://baku2022.azkif.az/.

The organizers of the international event are the European and Azerbaijani Cyber Sports Federations. In addition, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport provides organizational and financial support to the international tournament.
