A march that demonstrated the people-government unity, and peoples' support for their leader
On February 26, a nationwide march was held in Khatai district, Baku to pay tribute to victims of Khojaly tragedy on the 27th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide. The marchers started moving in the direction of the Khojaly memorial in Khatai district.
With President Ilham Aliyev and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva in the front row, the nationwide march involved over fifty-five thousand people. “The world must recognize Khojaly genocide”, “Justice for Khojaly”, “Do not forget Khojaly”, “No to Armenian fascism”, and other slogans were displayed during the march.
This nationwide march has once again demonstrated the people-government unity, and the people's great support for their President.
A large crowd of people participating in the march demonstrated the people's confidence that as a result of the policy pursued, and the work done by the Azerbaijani President, the Khojaly genocide will never be forgotten and that the perpetrators of the bloody crime will not remain unpunished.
