Roadside bomb attacks kill 1 in Iraq's Kirkuk

Baku, June 28, AZERTAC

At least one person was killed and ten others injured in simultaneous roadside bomb attacks in Iraq’s Kirkuk city on Thursday, according to Anadolu Agency.

Roadside bombs were detonated in Hazra and Ras al-Cisr neighborhoods as two passenger buses were passing, a statement released by Iraq’s Defense Ministry said.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks but Iraqi authorities typically blame such acts of violence on the Daesh terror group, which overran one-third of the country in mid-2014.
